There are no Prosperity One jobs to apply for today. These are the routes people take into nuclear and construction careers.

Apprenticeship

Trades apprenticeships combine paid work with training on the job.

Associate degree

Maysville Community and Technical College offers programs in industrial maintenance, electrical and welding. Lewis County Schools offers career and technical programs.

University

Engineering degrees lead to roles such as nuclear engineer. The national median wage for nuclear engineers was $133,970 in May 2025.

Military

Veterans and reservists bring skills nuclear projects need. At Vogtle Units 3 and 4 in Georgia, more than 30 percent of hires were veterans and reservists.
